Starting Pay Rate: $16.67

Job Description

Summary: Utilize the different parts and pieces provided to assemble wire components products of various customer specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Use hand and power tools effectively and efficiently to assemble parts.

Work in a fast-paced environment in order to keep up with production requirements.

Assemble different electrical devices by

Perform repetitive tasks with precision, expediency and consistency.

Produce the amount of finalized products required to fill orders.

Ensure all work is completed in a safe and cooperative manner.

Assist management with any other needs that may be deemed necessary within assembly

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Able to read, write and speak English

Attendance and punctuality is essential

Preferred Skills: Manufacturing and/or assembly experience a plus.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand

Use arms, hands and fingers to handle, feel and reach.

Frequently required to talk or hear.

Frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend.

Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.

Extreme heat/cold

Occasionally exposed to vibration.

Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Pulling/feeding wire, liquidtight

Installing boxes, pigtails

Terminating electrical devices

Operating payoff/takeup equipment

Stacking, strapping, & packaging wire assemblies

Labelling & heat shrinking
