Position Summary

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Manages projects related to new business sales.

• Monitors daily work activities of sales representatives and assists with the design and implementation of strategic process improvements to help meet the sales and marketing targets for customer service, including processing time, and new business.

• Provides real time workload reports from WMS to allow Manager to balance workload and meet customer expectations.

• Manages the Call Management System (CMS) and/or SalesForce databases to ensure that opportunities are appropriately entered and that timely communication and customer follow up by sales representatives takes place.

• Runs the BCA (new business) Alert List report and WMS queries to ensure BCA goals for task processing times are met. Interacts with internal departments such as System Planning, Design, Permitting and Construction to advocate for the customer and ensure a positive customer experience.

• Serves as second tier caller assistance for customer calls escalated to a “supervisor.” Explains WG policies and procedures for new business timelines.

• Applies average costing vouchers for main and service and selects appropriate tiers for mains based on pay item definitions. Authorizes new BCA’s in a territory with a Capital Expenditure level up to $50,000.

• Runs WMS queries including executive summaries to prepare jobs for Manager’s authorization. Checks data each day to expedite job approvals and minimize errors.

• Communicates with customers to answer questions, resolve issues and negotiate contracts.

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

• H.S. Diploma required

• Associate's Degree preferred

• Bachelor's Degree preferred

• 5+ Years experience in construction management, project management or engineering/design without degree preferred

• 2-4 Years experience in construction management, project management or engineering/design with Associate's Degree preferred

• 2+ Years experience in construction management, project management or engineering/design with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, engineering or a related field preferred

• Working knowledge of SmallWorld, ARM, CIS, and/or SalesForce preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to present ideas logically and concisely to diverse internal and external audiences at all organizational levels, both verbally and in writing.

• Proven ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint, to share, retrieve, research and present business information.

• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with business partners, supervisors and peers.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

We offer a competitive salary range of $82,000 to $118,750 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
