Position Specific Description

The Sr Pipeline Operations Tech will be based in the Shreveport, LA area.

The ideal candidate will have -

• Line locating experience within the last two years to include 811 reporting and record keeping

• Valve lubrication/servicing experience and associated OQ certification

Job Overview

Employees in this role provide properly qualified personnel to locate all underground gathering system pipelines, transportation pipelines, electrical lines and facility. Individuals witness all crossings by third parties of company buried assets and provide support to pipeline operations as required.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Uses appropriate tools to locate and mark all buried pipe and electrical wire owned by company

• Provides support to pigging activities on company pipelines in the form of pressure monitoring under direction of supervisor

• Provides support for pipeline monitoring by regularly driving the pipeline right-of-way looking for issues

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED

• Experience: 5+ years

• Commercial Driver's License
