Job Description

Intern will assist Project Engineers on the Niagara TLEM (Transmission Life Extension & Modernization) Project, under the supervision of a mentor. Upon successful completion of the internship, the intern is expected to be trained for full-time employment at the Authority within Project Management or Engineering.

Skills:

  • Documentation preparation for RFQs

  • Report preparation

  • Understand budgeting and scheduling requirements for projects

Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with project management principles

  • Understanding of engineering drawing standards

Abilities:

  • Work within a team environment

  • To coordinate multiple activities

Required Skills

Technical Competencies:

  • General principles of electrical, civil and mechanical engineering

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • SharePoint

  • General knowledge of project and construction management techniques

Required Experience

Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursuing a BS/Electrical or Civil Engineering degree
