Developmental Intern - Business Power Allocations & Compliance Analyst
The position will work with our Digital Back Office (DBO) program team on high impact projects. The DBO program is a variety of projects and initiatives designed to improve the efficiency and control of our internal processes while supporting the experience of our internal/external customers within the Contract Management and Business Power Allocation & Compliance Groups. The position will be directly responsible/support for one or more projects within the DBO program. The program supports Departments goals. Potential projects include Digital Compliance, Reporting Upgrades, Contract Inventory, Enhanced Digital Signatures and E-Tariffs.
In addition the intern may be asked to support Economic Development Customer application review and contract production efforts.
Skills, knowledge, and abilities the intern will walk away with at the end of the internship:
Skills: The position will have wide exposure to a variety of software systems and platforms. Including SharePoint, Tableu, Ariba/EchoSign, Microsoft CRM and other enterprise systems.
Knowledge: By the end of the assignment the position should have an understanding of the Company's contracting and economic development processes.
Abilities: The position will provide significant opportunities for improvement in business process and project management abilities
Experience with Microsoft office specifically Excel/Access. Knowledge of other systems such as SharePoint, Tableu, Ariba/EchoSign, Microsoft CRM is preferred, but a general understanding and desire to understand the workings of enterprise systems is the most important.
Experience working in teams. A desire to understand and improve processes and systems.
Sophomore or later Business, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degree.
