Eversource Energy Energy Efficiency Consultant, Channel Team: Residential Programs (Hybrid) in Westwood, Massachusetts

As an Energy Efficiency Consultant working as part of a highly motivated team, you will drive residential customer engagement in retail, recycling and food service programs as well as identify existing and new technologies that support energy-saving solutions for customers throughout our tristate service territory. Through your regular interactions with external stakeholders, energy efficiency contractors, engineers, and internal teammates including marketing and regulatory compliance, your will accomplish residential sector energy saving goals and help lower the state’s carbon emissions.

This is a hybrid role. The first three months are fulltime in the office.

Reporting manager: Energy Efficiency Manager– Channel Team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic activities and the nurturing of relationships with manufacturers and distributors of energy-efficient products to enhance supplier-driven programs.
  • Manage the integration of activities between the customer, program administrators, advisory consultants, and vendor/contractors.
  • Prepare RFP’s for the development and execution of Request for Proposals in order to help procure program administration vendors.
  • Develop documents and plans necessary to meet compliance with regulatory filings and oversight of customer funded Energy Efficiency programs.
  • Participate in the budgeting, invoicing, evaluation, analysis, and tracking of expenses and energy savings; assists with the development of RFPs for contracted services.
  • Maintain strong financial controls through program processes and ensures follow through on program design commitments.

Requirements

Technical Knowledge/Skill:

  • Requires an understand of and direct knowledge of the needs of the supply chain
  • Requires ability to interpret energy efficiency/renewable technologies and services and understand their application.
  • Requires solid understanding of financial principals and the ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel).

Education:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

Experience :

  • Three (3) plus years of relevant experience in technical marketing, sales, project management, engineering, architectural, or energy efficiency. Experience and/or aptitude in customer service also desired.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of benefits.
