In this role, you will work with current residential customer market offerings and drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will support operations at both the state and national levels.

Job Overview

The open Summer College Intern position will play a key role in FPLES’s Equipment Leasing Product Line. The Equipment Leasing Team consists of a Channel Sales team that works in the field to establish new contractor relationship and onboard contractors that want to participate in FPLES’s Equipment Leasing Program. The Channel Sales team is supported in the back office by the Vendor Management Team in which the internship position would support. Both entities of the Equipment Leasing Team work collaboratively to drive home equipment sales here locally in Florida and Nationally.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supports the execution of direct-to-consumer (D2C) offering and activities through internal and external partners

  • Works with leadership to create, build, and maintain product vendor relationships

  • Gathers and analyzes VOC (voice of the customer) on products/services

  • Provides support with questions and issues on administering the contract(s)

  • Researches specific situations to properly address company and contractor concerns

  • Analyzes and supports processes for executing the work with contractors

  • Performs installation quality reviews and processing of contractor payments

  • Develops Scopes of Work for new contractors

  • Supports development of funding strategies for existing and new contracts

  • Researches and processes liquidated damages for various contracts

  • Communicates various safety, product updates and other information to contractors

  • Partners with the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) to develop and maintain contracts for emerging needs to support various field activities

  • Meets attendance and storm duty requirements and has the ability to work extended hours

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

To be considered for an internship, you must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher. You must also have a current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists department with assigned projects

  • Completes challenging projects and assignments

  • Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship

  • Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school grad / GED

  • Maintain active enrollment in a Bachelor or higher degree program

  • Maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
