Position Specific Description

FPL Energy Services is looking for an accomplished Change Management Practitioner to join their team in West Palm Beach, FL. The Change Management Lead should have extensive experience driving significant changes, with a focus on the human aspects of change. The selected candidate for this role should demonstrate advanced knowledge of practices, methodologies, and key components of change management. Must be comfortable facilitating training and workshops for individual contributors, key stakeholders, and senior leaders. You will be a mentor to recently trained change agents and practitioners and will provide consultation on their projects as needed. Also, you should have the ability to work independently, run multiple assignments, and prioritize work on several key projects at a given time.

Certification in Change Management by notable change management organizations such as Prosci and ACMP is highly preferred.

Job Overview

Employees in this role lead change management activities for a project, applying a structured methodology by supporting change management at the project and organizational level. This job will assess the change impact of the project by conducting impact analysis, and assess the change readiness of teams and key stakeholders by working collaboratively and supporting training efforts.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages the change management process and applies change management tools in support of a project or initiative

  • Builds change management skills and supports other change management practitioners

  • Assists with implementing provision change management tools

  • Supports design, development, delivery, and management of communications

  • Conducts impact analysis, assesses change readiness, and identifies key stakeholders

  • Provides input, supports document requirements, and designs and delivers training programs

  • Consults and coaches project teams on change management

  • Creates change management strategies

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED

  • Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience

  • Experience: 7+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s - Business Administration
