Opportunities are based around the below main functions.

Treasury

A key member of this team focuses on Corporate Finance and Treasury Operations projects and analyses. The position has significant interface with Business Units, Corporate Planning, Accounting, Senior Leadership and the Investment Banking community. Standard projects include:

  • Conduct research and analyses to support strategic plans, prospective financings and rating agency requests

  • Assist in structuring, planning and executing debt and equity financings

  • Support refinement of Exelon’s financial strategy by evaluating capital structure, debt composition and cost of capital

  • Support development of cash forecasts and financing plans for Operating Companies

  • Provide periodic updates on market trends (i.e. economic news, interest rates, market transactions, etc.)

Financial Planning & Analysis

Team members will be involved in a variety of key projects and analyses relating to the financial performance of Exelon’s operations. Standard projects include:

  • Analyze financial results and prepare presentations to effectively communicate financial performance to senior management

  • Support modeling for project evaluation and/or financial scenario analysis

  • Support monthly forecasting and long range planning processes

  • Prepare updates on financial and operational performance, including monthly performance indicators and scorecards

  • Support ad-hoc strategic requests from senior management

Audit & Financial Controls

Team members would be involved in developing and implementing assurance and advisory services work, with key interfaces across support groups and operating companies. Standard projects include:

  • Developing a holistic understanding of risk and controls processes across the enterprise

  • Identifying, communicating and addressing enhancement opportunities

  • Working with business partners and other stakeholders to identify and assess key risks and controls

  • Evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of controls

  • Collaborating with various levels of management to develop a robust and efficient control environment

  • Supporting and managing other ad hoc engagements as needed
