Expected salary range of $146,700 to $163,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Manage the Outage Planning and Services (OP&S) training group including instructor training & qualification programs, as well as training department personnel development. Plan, coordinate, and manage activities associated with the development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of Constellation Nuclear’s training programs including the coordination of accreditation activities, systematic approach to training (SAT) application, corrective action process implementation, and self-assessment activities.

Manage the OP&S Performance Improvement group which is responsible for assessing, developing, and driving the OP&S department, site, and corporate human performance initiatives. Additional responsibilities include management and oversight of OP&S corrective action program (CAP) and action tracking system.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage the development, implementation and evaluation utilizing a systematic approach of training programs to improve OP&S performance in accordance with prescribed department procedures, Constellation policies, and applicable regulations and requirements. OP&S training program has responsibilities which include Fuel Handler and Fuel Handling Supervisor training, Dry Cask Storage Training, and Outage Services Support training.· Oversight of process, programs and procedures associated with maintaining OP&S training programs as assigned by the Director, OP&S Programs and Alliances. This includes maintaining training-related performance indicators, trending the corrective action program and the feedback process for training.· Anticipates long-range training needs in OP&S and develops strategies and plans to meet those needs.· Manages the development and maintenance of all training materials, laboratories and simulation facilities.· Develops and manages the OP&S training budget and business plan initiatives to ensure that training facilities, equipment, materials, records, and personnel qualifications support training program goals.· Supports any required Nuclear Regulatory Committee (NRC) or Institute of Nuclear Power Operators (INPO) OP&S audits/assessments. They will also be responsible for addressing any findings and effectively communicating them to OP&S leadership.· Evaluates the need for outside services, coordinates the drafting of bid specifications, evaluates proposals, recommends qualified vendors, and manages the purchased programs and services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • ·Bachelor’s degree in a technical, educational, or training discipline or previous senior reactor operator license/certification with 6 years’ experience, of which at least 3 of those years are supervisory/management or in lieu of degree, 10 years’ experience, of which at least 3 of those years are management· Experience on INPO Accreditation or Evaluation teams, benchmarking, and peer assessment teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in a technical, educational, or training discipline or previous senior reactor operator license/certification with 8 years’ experience, of which at least 5 of those years are supervisory and in the implementation of training program systems or in lieu of degree, 14 years’ experience, of which at least 5 of those years are supervisory and in the implementation of training program systems· Experience in leading teams from multiple organizations in accomplishing diverse tasks and assignments· Knowledge of and experience with the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)
