What You'll Do

Our Operations Customer Project Management team plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of several intricate customer projects. This team engages with several internal stakeholders to improve the progress of customer projects through the design, permitting and construction processes and works to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce cycle times. As a Gridtern, you will assist with identifying and developing tools and dashboards to improve project management and tracking, thus enhancing operational efficiency. Additionally, you will actively participate in Weekly Team Hub calls and site meetings, and conduct data analysis to uncover opportunities for process improvement.

You will be in our Northampton, MA offices working in a Hybrid structure for the summer and must be located within a commutable distance of this identified work location.

What You’ll Need

  • Availability to start on program start date, May 27, 2025

  • Registered in school as a full-time student and continuing education full-time for Fall 2025 Semester

  • Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field

  • Accumulated 18 or more credits and be 18 years of age

  • Work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (including CPT & OPT)

  • Valid driver’s license required with a safe driving history that meets National Grid’s Safe Driver policy

Salary Range

$20.00 -$26.00 an hour (Undergraduate Student)

$28.00 - $33.00 an hour (Graduate Student)

Candidates will be assessed and provided offers based on major, degree type, and class year. Our Gridtern Program does not offer relocation, housing assistance, or public transportation reimbursement for Gridterns; however, we can provide a list of resources to utilize in making your arrangements.

Please note that as a Gridtern, you must reside within our existing footprint, which includes Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, and Vermont. You must also reside within a reasonable, commutable distance to your assigned primary office.
