National Grid Senior Project Manager, Electricity Capital Project Delivery in Waltham, Massachusetts

National Grid is hiring a Senior Project Manager, Electricity Project Delivery . This position will preferably be based in Syracuse, NY but could also be located in one of our offices in either in Downstate NY or Waltham, MA. This is a hybrid position.
The Role:
The Senior Project Manager will primarily be responsible for supporting, executing, and reporting on the NY Electric Cost Consciousness Program.
What You'll Do:
Evaluate current organizational processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains
Collaborate with teams to develop and propose practical solutions, including process redesign, automation, or technology enhancements
Develop training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation to ensure that optimized processes are effectively adopted and maintained by teams
Facilitate change management efforts by communicating proposed improvements, obtaining buy-in from stakeholders, and ensuring successful implementation
Work with various key stakeholders to identify and develop a balanced portfolio of initiatives that will result in enduring operational efficiencies. This will require identifying key stakeholders, SMEs, tools, processes and data that will ensure viability of the efficiency opportunity
Present to senior leadership on key initiatives and the Cost-Conscious Program
Provide project management functions including schedule and milestone development, KPIs, financial reporting tied to Controllable Budgets and P&L, process flows, and RACIs
Create and manage Electric-wide KPIs to identify gaps in performance against CAPEX and OPEX delivery to drive step changes in delivery effectiveness
Local travel to New England and New York offices 25-30%
About You:
Bachelors degree strongly preferred in business/finance/accounting/engineering or significant relevant experience required
5+ years' experience in project management, financial reporting and/or engineering required
Experience to include managing budgets, schedules, and deliverables
Successful delivery of complex projects required
Demonstrated team leadership skills required
Ability to break-down complex problem statements and create simple pathways forward
Understanding of policies and processes and demonstrated ability to challenge existing processes and ways of working required
Ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Knowledge of SAP, Powerplan, STORMS, Primavera and Business Intelligence Reporting preferred
Valid driver's license required

Salary
$105,000 - $124,000 a year
