This requires us to deliver on our promises and always look for new opportunities to grow, both ourselves and our business. ## Job Purpose Support the management of deliverables and the performance of National Grid’s implementation of the statewide SOLAR MASSACHUSETTS RENEWABLE TARGET (SMART) program with a focus on customer and internal needs, including business support, coordination of services, management of the third-party program administrator and the tracking of budget spending, vendor performance against contractual SLA’s, timeliness and accuracy of incentive payments, and other key performance indicators. Responsible for managing annual SMART Factor Filing, which includes forecasting, program analytics, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for the management of the overall financial performance of the SMART program within National Grid’s Massachusetts service territory in order to achieve committed targets within program budgets. ## Key Accountabilities Responsibilities (including but not limited to): • Manage annual SMART Factor Filing and all mandated regulatory reporting. Responsibilities include forecasting, reconciling previous year spending, and analyzing data from multiple sources. Deliver high quality work with adherence to internal and external deadlines. • Monitor progress toward regulatory goals and budget spending. If/when necessary, develop and execute tactics to boost performance to goals/mandates. Manage internal program reporting for internal and external distribution. • Research primary data sources and analyze trends to support defining the approach and performance targets for the market. • Provide support for internal functions supporting program delivery and execution, including but not limited to: coordination with multiple interdependent internal functions on process development and improvements, acting as a program subject matter expert to internal teams requiring financial program support, and leading development and resolution of program policies and issues as needs arise. • Work collaboratively with business units, such as Finance, Pricing and Revenue Requirements, Billing Operations, and Customer Energy Integration. • Represent National Grid values when meeting with key internal and external stakeholders such as residential and C&I program participants, solar developers, third party administrators, other participating utilities, or regulatory agencies. • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the business by staying abreast of business trends. Learn and share best practices. • Proactively seek ways to improve program delivery to participants by soliciting external feedback, researching/implementing best practices, exploring ways to streamline processes, and developing communication materials. Collaborate with internal partners to develop robust strategies and execution plans that offer best-in-class approaches to delivering the SMART program for participants. ## Qualifications • A Bachelor’s degree in a related area and a minimum of 3 years of related experience. • Strong proficiency in data analytics and financial analysis, including relevant software e.g. Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). ## More Information National Grid is an equal opportunity employer that values a broad diversity of talent, knowledge, experience and expertise.
