_About the Position:_

This role is the key liaison between the Gas Business Enablement project and the Regulatory and Pricing group ensuring alignment between the teams. Assists with the preparation of GBE testimony and financial exhibits, and witness preparation for evidentiary hearings in litigated rate case proceedings. Position will lead and coordinate on all regulatory interrogatories that are related to the GBE project. Position will be the main contact and coordinate/develop any reporting required by Regulatory Agencies, for example the quarterly reporting to the NY Public Service Commission. In addition, this position will work with the GBE Team to ensure that the GBE Program investments are enumerated, cost recovery maximized and regulatory lag minimized. This position will also closely align with the GBE commercial team.

_Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):_

  • Assists with GBE Program Team Member Testimonies, CAPEX and OPEX exhibits for each rate case filing, providing any required and/or applicable detail.

  • Oversees the preparation, review, editing and submission into the DREAM application and also personally prepares discovery phase interrogatory responses to questions received from Jurisdictional regulators and rate case intervenors related to each rate filing under 10 calendar submission deadline requirements (potentially requires working many nights and weekends to meet deadline requirements).

  • Assists in the preparation of rebuttal testimony and witness preparation binders for Evidentiary Hearings in litigated regulatory proceedings and rate cases.

  • Supports the preparation of legal briefs and closing arguments for each rate case.

  • Coordinates reporting requirements mandated by Regulatory Agencies and ensures the timely filing of such reports.

  • Coordinates the preparation of GBE briefing decks and similar materials to be presented to Regulatory Agencies.

  • Directs the work effort of an analyst and provides supervision and professional development to staff.

  • Works closely with National Grid Regulatory Team Members to assist and provide any ad hoc requests.

  • Broad experience in Regulatory Price Control and/or Rate Case setting processes

  • Experience in corporate business planning processes

  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks within the US

  • Ability to operate as a role model, championing leadership behaviors

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Supervisory and interpersonal skills required to develop staff and work as a part of a collaborative GBE team effort required in the adjudication of rate case filings

_Qualifications Required:_

  • Bachelor degree in finance, accounting or business administration

  • Relevant industry certification desirable

  • 5 Years of experience in finance or regulation field
