National Grid Global Solutions Development team is currently seeking an innovative, technically talented Principal Solution Architect who can influence the architecture and design for major initiatives within our Solutions Development team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning and architecting solutions for various programs and projects on the Salesforce.com Platform. The candidate will own all the review and approval of overall technical designs. The candidate must also be able to identify and confirm technical design risks and develop mitigating approaches. The candidate must also have experience providing level of effort estimates for technical portion of solutions.

Provides guidance and support to development teams on technology and design best practices
Creates and maintains conceptual and logical architecture designs for major programs
Establishes and enforces coding standards, software design patterns, and optimization techniques to enable teams deliver high quality solutions in production.
Analyze solution deployment and implementation methods to make sure they are in line with company policies and any external regulations that may apply, including any regulatory or internal security requirements
Work with cross functional teams for requirements gathering for upcoming initiatives and prepare proof of concept designs and implementations accordingly
Maintains accountability to Enterprise Architecture all technology and design decisions
Mentor development team members
Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required
Good stakeholder management and influencing skills at project stakeholder level.
Good written and verbal communications skills.
Extensive Salesforce knowledge and experience, including end to end implementation
Deep understanding of Salesforce best practices and design principles
Strong technical knowledge of Lightning, including Lightning Component development
Experience with complex integrations, integration strategies, and tools; MuleSoft experience a plus
Exposure to field service business processes and practices. Salesforce Service cloud and Field Service Lightning experience preferred
Experience with Agile development and release practices.
