National Grid is hiring a Manager, Quality Assurance - Massachusetts for our Gas Pipeline Safety & Compliance organization in Waltham, MA. ## Job Purpose To develop and execute a risk-ranked quality assurance plan in support of Pipeline Safety Management. To share performance results and collaborate with the business to determine quality and procedural compliance improvement opportunities. ## Key Accountabilities + Develop and execute the risk-based field quality assurance plan + Manage in-progress, re-dig, and focused re-dig field inspections + Oversee use of iAuditor system for QA inspection data + Manage tracking and closeout of corrective actions identified through field inspections + Provide summary analysis of inspection data and findings + Engage with Field Operations and manage internal stakeholder relationships + Consult with and ensure alignment among regional QA teams + Establish clear goals and performance expectations for inspectors + Coach and develop direct reports ## Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required ## Qualifications + Bachelors' Degree preferred + 6+ years of work experience in gas utility operations, construction, QA/QC, or related field + Comprehensive knowledge of the natural gas industry and the associated federal and state laws and codes + In-depth knowledge of National Grid Gas policies and procedures preferred + Strong analytical skills to analyze information and synthesize themes/trends + Strong presentation skills to relay findings and corrective action + Budgetary skills to forecast and manage to plan + Valid driver’s license ## More Information This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
