National Grid is hiring a Lead Engineer of Security. This is a hybrid position located in Waltham, MA.

Job Purpose

Our vision is to be recognized as a world leading Information Technology and Digital function in the energy sector and a trusted partner across National Grid businesses. Guided by the requirements of the Security Leadership Team and/or individual Business Unit CISOs the SSO, MFA, and PAM Operations Manager will lead the operations of

our identity and access management solutions, ensuring robust security controls while maintaining user convenience. They will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and enhancement of Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Privilege Access Management systems.

Key Accountabilities

• Overseeing the daily operations of SSO, MFA, and PAM solutions across the organization.

• Ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of identity and access management services.

• Collaborating with IT and security teams to align identity and access management operations with business objectives.

• Developing and implementing policies and procedures for identity and access management.

• Managing the response to identity and access-related incidents and breaches.

• Conducting regular reviews and audits of identity and access management controls.

• Leading projects to upgrade or replace identity and access management systems.

• Providing training and support to users on SSO, MFA, and PAM-related issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

• 7 or more years of related experience.

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and suppliers in different time zones.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for making sound decisions under pressure.

• In-depth knowledge of SSO, MFA, and PAM technologies and best practices.

• Experience with identity and access management platforms and tools.

• Strong leadership skills.

Salary

$142k - $167k a year

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
