This requires us to deliver on our promises and always look for new opportunities to grow, both ourselves and our business. ## Job Purpose The Technology Business Management (TBM) team is a results-driven group that focuses on IT enterprise efficiency from IT assets and IT applications, to operations and processes. Cost transparency is our guiding principal and primary goal. We are embarking on a cost transparency journey - expanding and maturing our cost transparency capabilities to improve the actionability of our insights and the accuracy of cost allocations to our regulated and non-regulated businesses. Our goal is to deliver a full consumption-based cost allocation model across all IT within the next 18 months. We are growing the team, finding the right candidate to take this journey with us is critical. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for delivering key aspects of our TBM Data Strategy including the design, implementation and support of backend processes (e.g. Python) and be able to support (e.g MS SQL) procedures that extract data out of ServiceNow (e.g. Server Data, Consumption Data) and other Data Sources (e.g. Apptio, Cloud Data, SAP). You will leverage your ServiceNow development experience to build and maintain scripts for integration in/out of our cost transparency tooling (Apptio). We are seeking a strong candidate who is motivated to build solid, scalable platform capabilities, someone who likes to raise the bar with respect to code quality and maintainability standards. Typical day to day involves working with your teammates on cost allocation and data integration/transform solutions, attending and actively participating in scrum ceremonies and have at least a little fun. ## Key Accountabilities + Design and Implement TBM Database solution to support the automation and transform of key data sources in/out of Apptio: ServiceNow (CMDB, Tickets), SAP (General Ledger) + Oversee the migration of local TBM SQL Server and VBA data transform processes into new strategic TBM Data architecture + Develop API data integration and automation solutions – e.g. SQL Automation of SAP loads (General Ledger), Automation of Invoice details via Alteryx. + Support the design of Consumption-Based allocation models/solutions leveraging MS SQL Server with integration into Apptio + Support the design of Data Centre and Application “Bill of IT” including developing visualisation layer (Power BI) with integration into Apptio + Dashboard development (Power BI) for Management and Business Unit reporting + Ad-hoc solution design - as necessary to support the TBM Strategic Roadmap ## Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required + Advanced interpersonal skills with demonstrable ability to build rapport and to articulate complex technical solutions in business terms. + Conveys confidence and professionalism, positively influencing and persuading others to take a specific course of action when there is no direct line of command or control. + Broad knowledge of a variety of technologies to the point of being able to reasonably direct and/or challenge solutions/proposals from others. ## Qualifications + BS in Computer Science or related field + 5+ years experience working as part of a large orgination's IT Department + 3+ years ServiceNow development experience, CMDB, Service Management, ITIL and ITOM Principles + Expert knowledge of MS SQL Server with extensive SQL Query development experience, Power BI (DAX) and ETL (SSIS) + Good understanding of basic financial concepts, experience in supporting financial management and analysis, cost allocation / product profitability, or complex financial reporting + Good understanding of relational database principles, guidelines, database administration (performance tuning and optimization) + Solid experience working with or familiarity around Java and/or Python + Very strong foundational knowledge in Object-Oriented Design Principles, Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, and Software Engineering + Working knowledge of web technologies (such as HTTP, HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX) will be beneficial + Experience in developing dashboards and reporting solutions ## More Information This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
