National Grid HR Technology Product Owner in Waltham, Massachusetts

About the role

Are you an ambitious and innovative Product Owner with a fantastic understanding of HR processes and technology?

We are seeking a skilled Product Owner (HR Technology) with expertise in the Reward and Compensation area to enhance and optimize our HR technology IT solutions, driving continuous improvement to maximize team performance and optimize people engagement.

In this role, you will work closely with our People and Culture, Business Service and IT teams to shape our HR technology and digital offerings to the business. You will report to the Head of HR Technology in the Global People and Culture team, providing technical and operational guidance in your specific area of HR technology.

About you

  • Strong industry experience as a Product Owner and/or implementation and continuous improvement specifically within the Reward and Compensation area

  • Prior experience working with SuccessFactor.

  • Bring latest market trends in Reward Solutions with a view of continuous improvement and staying relevant

  • Relevant SuccessFactors accreditation at associate or professional consultant level and relevant experience working as a business consultant within this area

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to establish and maintain productive relationships/interactions up to executive level.

  • Ability to think strategically, look at the bigger picture, and use cross functional knowledge to drive positive impacts to the colleague experience from a join to leave perspective

  • Implementation of short and long-term detailed product vision based on Reward strategy and create product roadmap, working closely with the Reward team

  • Competent at product delivery - defining product roadmaps, collaborating and coordinating with other product owners and system administrators

  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, including planning, organizing, problem solving and meeting established deadlines.

  • Experience of using agile practices would be ideal.

  • Continuous improvements through regular product performance reports on adoption rates, customer survey results, service performance metrics

  • Management of prioritized product backlog and product dependencies based on overall strategy, business objectives and customer/ end user’s needs

Waltham, MA $117,000 - $138,000 a year

Brooklyn, NY $126,000 - $148,000 a year

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
