National Grid is Hiring a Coordinator, Business Development, Customer Energy Intergration in our Waltham, MA location.
To act as interface between the Customer Energy Management organization and the internal enabling functions that support CEM’s achievement of stated objectives and accountabilities. The CEM Category Coordinator will be a member of the Customer Energy Management (CEM) New England’s Growth and Development team, working closely with the CEM Growth and Development Manager as well as relevant jurisdictional CEM leaders to prepare content in support of cross-functional product hub meetings and to ensure coordinated efforts and alignment between all CEM jurisdictions and complementary organizations within National Grid.
The Category Coordinator will be specifically charged with developing and managing a process for ensuring follow-though on agreed upon actions identified during CEM product hub meetings, as well as with representing CEM interests with IS in the prioritization, development and implementation of internal technology tools in support of delivery and execution of new and existing CEM product offerings. The CEM Category Coordinator will also be responsible for establishing, maintaining and executing on other necessary tools and processes necessary for the efficient execution of company activities aligned with achieving CEM mandates, including the identification of opportunities for process improvements and the development of and implementation of strategies and tactics to address these opportunities.
Leads production of content for CEM Product hub meetings, including collection of relevant data and reporting, continuous monitoring of and reporting on priority actions
Acts as primary liaison between CEM product owners, CEM leadership and enabling functions, including coordination of cross-functional activities, prioritization of requested efforts, investments and initiatives
Acts as primary point of contact and business representative for CEM in interactions with IS around ongoing development and maintenance of existing supporting technology infrastructure through the company’s utilization of the Agile technology development methodology
Supports CEM Growth and Development Manager and jurisdictional CEM Managers in identification of opportunities for internal or external process improvements that can drive cost savings and/or increased customer adoption of CEM offerings.
Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required
Strong influencing and project skills required to ensure timely and accurate delivery of work from multi-disciplinary teams.
Proven communication and leadership skills including ability to comprehend and explain in simple terms highly complex information.
Knowledge & Experience Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in a business, social science, or engineering related area and up to 5 years of related experience, or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated interest in the electric and gas industry; energy efficiency program planning, design, implementation and evaluation, local and national energy policy.
Knowledge of relevant industry practice and legislation.
Familiarity with the Agile technology development methodology
Demonstrated relationship development and consensus building skills
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Takes personal responsibility for correcting problems related to energy efficiency, demand management and climate change promptly and communicates customer expectations to monitor delivery and satisfaction.
Detail orientation and a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities.
