New Jersey Natural Gas, a subsidiary of NJR is seeking aNJNG Sales Internto assist sales representatives and insides sales team with sales support.

What you will do:

Bring your enthusiasm and drive and you’ll learn from some of the top talent in the energy industry. You’ll have hands-on experience with your team and the support of our human resources team through this 10-week program. Growing both professionally and personally throughout the program could lead to future post-grad opportunities.

• Provide customer support via phone or face to face

• Enter leads to quote information utilizing our customer software

• Qualify leads utilizing GIS

• Other tasks related to the sales process

What we are looking for:

We’re looking for self-starters who are motivated to learn, grow and take on new challenges. Individuals who are flexible, dependable, work well in varying environments and want to make an impact in your community and your company are welcomed here.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering field

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple assignments and projects with varying deadlines

• Flexibility to work both independently and within a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Available to work full time (40 hours per week) during defined intern program dates (June-August)

• Ability to work onsite in the corporate office in Wall, NJ as defined by manager

• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
