New Jersey Resources is seeking a Master Date Management (MD) Lead responsible for supervising the development, implementation and administration of Master Data Management (MDM) policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of data flows within Oracle ERP Cloud and between Oracle and periphery systems, maintaining continuity of dependent business processes.

Major Responsibilities:

• Deploy and enforce standards and rules for data management within Oracle ERP Cloud and between Oracle and edge systems.

• Collaborate and lead discussions with key stakeholders to ensure changes to master data are being met within the guidelines of MDM policies and procedures

• Utilize knowledge of Oracle functionality and NJR’s key design decisions to provide guidance on best practices that will align business requests to NJR’s ERP design principles

• Oversee related updates to documentation in configuration guides; ensure that guides include key information on design decisions and documentation is complete for continuity.

• Troubleshoot, analyze and prioritize issues related to data quality, integrity, accuracy, consistency and completeness

• Oversee documentation of resolutions to data management issues and requests, including decisions by MDM Change Assessment Boards

• Partner with stakeholders, including FinOp Reporting team, to optimize Oracle functionality and related configurations to drive efficiencies and best practices.

• Maintain SOX controls; serve as liaison on auditor documentation requests

• Develop and maintain MDM metrics and KPIs for reporting and management of related activities and issues.

• Collaborate with IT on roll-out of Oracle releases

• Supervise staff on changes to master data to ensure they are in accordance with governance policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Information Systems

• 5 years of experience in a related field

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Concise written and verbal skills with ability to communicate effectively across different functions of the organization

• Strong project and time management skills with ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud functionality

• Interpersonal and listening skills with ability to lead requirements gathering discussions with key stakeholders (business and IT) on MDM objectives and desired business outcomes.

• Critical thinking with ability to understand nuances of NJR’s businesses and related data requirements; gather and synthesize actionable insights to effectively plan for best solutions

• Comfort with being a change agent and challenging the status quo to promote best practice and maintain ERP design

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Knowledge of Oracle reporting tools (FRS, Smartview, OTBI)

• Stay abreast of latest developments in Oracle ERP Cloud through on-line training or conferences
