The Investor Relations Intern will gain practical investor relations experience by provide support to the IR team. You will have an opportunity to collaborate, shadow, mentor and train with investor relations professional, and participate in networking events and company meeting.

Major Responsibilities:

• Track, compare and analyze NJR and its peers’ business developments, market valuation, financial results, industry dynamics, capital market, industry policies and updates

• Prepare reports and analysis outlining investor feedback, financial results, stock price performance, changes to institutional shareholder base

• Drafting/editing news releases

• Drafting/editing investor presentations

• Assisting with preparation for quarterly earnings events – logistics, drafting/editing news releases, drafting/editing scripts, and research related to Q&A prep

• Developing investor and analyst target lists

• Reviewing IR website and recommending enhancements and updates

• Managing client IR calendars

Position Specifications:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Public Relations or related fields of study

• Ability to work in a team environment and be extremely responsive to supervisors and peers

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Position is hybrid: In offices at Wall, NJ 2-3 days per week, remote other days as determined.

This is a 10-week paid summer position from June to August, Monday through Friday. Positions are open to undergraduate students, pursuing a degree in specified area of study. Candidates who have completed their Bachelor's degree or pursuing a Master’s degree are not eligible for the intern program and welcome to apply to full time opportunities.
