NJR Clean Energy Ventures, a subsidiary of NJR is seeking an Intern – Asset Operations and Management to assist the CEV Asset Management team by performing research and analysis relating to asset performance and operations.


• Collaborate with a variety of internal teams, including Asset Management, Engineering, Project Management and Business Development, to support operational performance and other initiatives

• Assist operations team in identifying issues with site performance and problem solving to develop corrective action plans

• Analyze energy market pricing and asset performance data to make recommendations for optimization of assets.

• Assist with maintenance inspections of commercial solar facilities, schedule repairs and maintenance activities

• Support review and analysis of service contracts to ensure that CEV is maximizing value from service providers

• Use MS Office tools to communicate results and insights in charts, graphs and presentations

Position Requirements:

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related qualitative discipline (Engineering, Statistical Analysis, Computer Science, Business or Finance preferred); candidates should be entering their junior or senior year

• Strong interest in the renewable and clean energy sector

• Strong computer skills, strong ability to use Excel

This is a 10-week paid summer position from June to August, Monday through Friday. Positions are open to undergraduate students, pursuing a degree in specified area of study. Candidates who have completed their Bachelor's degree or pursuing a Master’s degree are not eligible for the intern program and welcome to apply to full time opportunities.

Position is hybrid: 3-4 days in the office, 1-2 days remote
