Clean Energy Ventures, a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking an Asset Analayst Commercial Solar, responsible for the daily analysis of commercial renewable energy systems, identifying trends and performance issues and issuing repair orders. Supports, troubleshoots and provides training on company software used by department and third-party contractors. Work with operations team to review and analyze system performance and assist in resolving customer issues. Performs ad hoc reports and analysis for management.

Major Responsibilities:

• Work with software vendors to ensure updates are completed on schedule and budget

• Analyze system performance to ensure commercial systems are operating at peak efficiency

• Monitor daily Ignition alerts and issue repair orders based on performance analysis

• Review and process invoices from contractors and vendors supporting asset management

• Responsible for monthly meter reads and uploads to system

• Provide weekly, monthly and yearly reports on system performance and GATS

• Manage upgrades to system and work to identify and implement system upgrades

• Monitor, analyze and troubleshoot performance of solar facilities for signs of underperforming systems; investigate and mitigate cause

• Coordinate outages, identify, resolve and track system issues and corrective actions

• Coordinate with EPC and Project Managers to support responses to land owners, utility interactions and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) supplier maintenance support activities

• Responsible for all required repairs, maintenance and monitoring of all warranty claims

• Coordinate the timely delivery of supplies, services, rent, taxes and payments for such items and any other services associated with contracts

• Prepare purchase orders and process invoices

• Provide a high level of professionalism and solar expertise

• Work with operations team to resolve issues at commercial sites

• Assist other CEV teams as needed

Position Specifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in statistical analysis, computer science, business or other related discipline is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Two to four years of experience required

• Ability to work within tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at one time

• Ability to access rooftops as well as inside of on-site structures as part of the project commissioning support process

• Ability to travel to commercial solar locations periodically

• Excellent communication and time management skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, JD Edwards, as well as knowledge of database management and report writing is preferred
