SUMMARY

Supports Facilities Maintenance activities including work order management, material and parts sourcing and procurement, inventory management, compliance reporting, and database management.

EDUCATION

• High School/GED or equivalent (Required)

• Associate’s degree in business. (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE

Spec Facilities Assoc (Associate)

• No experience is required

Spec Facilities (Generalist)

• 2 years’ experience in technical support.

Spec Facilities Sr (Senior)

• 5 years’ experience in technical support.

Spec Facilities Staff (Staff)

• 8 years’ experience in technical support.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

• There is no Licensure or Certifications required.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports Facilities Maintenance activities including work order management, material and parts sourcing and procurement, inventory management, compliance reporting, and database management.

• Sources, identifies and procures materials and parts as required.

• Verifies that materials/parts meet specification/quality requirements.

• Coordinates vendor maintenance and repairs to site equipment.

• Administers the Facilities Helpdesk – creates/tracks/closes Facilities Work Orders.

• Creates/edits Facilities Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks.

• Checks-in materials and parts and stages in correct locations.

• Performs fuel island administration.

• Maintains assigned blanket contracts - including responsibilities for issuing purchase orders to suppliers and coordinating delivery/receipt.

• Provides necessary contractor oversight to assure compliance with all STPNOC site requirements.

• Performs variety of technical, administrative and facilities support duties as required.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accept Outage position.

• Accept ERO position and be able to meet the response requirements.

• Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access if needed.

• Successfully complete General Employee Training (GET) as required for position.

SPECIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to perform tasks in various computer programs such as Oracle, spreadsheets, and presentation software.

• Knowledge of equipment and building systems maintained by the department.

ENVIRONMENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Environmental and physical requirements are subject to crouching, stooping, bending, twisting and/or lifting up to 30 lbs; ascending/descending stairs; sitting for extended periods of time; and spending considerable time in front of computer monitors.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Overtime and alternate work schedules as needed.

• Subject to callouts twenty-four hours per day seven days per week.

• Travel may be required.

• May be required to carry a phone.

WORK LOCATION

• Site – Due to the nature of the work, this position requires work to be performed in the field and/or at the work site.
