Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The System Support Analyst is responsible for ensuring the Customer Operations Systems and processes are supported. They will monitor the day to day health of Customer Systems, support internal and external customers, and identify opportunities for improvement. The System Support Analyst will provide a company-wide, standard, common business practicefor Customer Operations.

The System Support Analyst must be able to work with evolving technology and multiple business units to resolve issues quickly with minimal impact to both our customers and other departments. This position will serve as an advanced troubleshooter of the Customer Operations Systems; with a focus on Short Cycle Field Mobility. In addition, will assist with Meter Head-Ends, Meter Data Management Systems, Operational Device Management Systems, and Customer Information Systems. Provide continuous monitoring of Customer Operation Systems and investigate errors. Coordinate with Information Technology partners on the deployment of updates and enhancements to the Customer Operations Systems. Provides extensive technical guidance to multiple business units, internal, and external customers in the development and implementation of new standards and processes.

Education and Experience:

The preferred candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in business, information technology or a related field.

The preferred candidate will also have experience working with various computer systems and database applications; as well as a strong technical background in maintenance and reliability applications.

Prior experience in the utility industry and/or technical related field around reliability and maintenance is preferred.

Excellent communication and the ability to translate complex technical terminology, concepts, and issues to technical and non-technical management and resource staff. Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure and time constraints. Computer Skills Experience with programs such as Microsoft Excel, Access, XML, Oracle Developer, SQL. Knowledge of industry and customer data standards. Ability to project database resource requirements including personnel, software, equipment, and facilities. Ability to stay abreast on current tools, methodologies, and technologies. Strong interpersonal skills to resolve problems in a professional manner, lead working groups, negotiate and create consensus. Must have the ability to perform the physical activities of the job. The employee must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. Candidate should possess a progressive, dynamic attitude toward solving problems and working with other team members. Must be able to handle confidential information appropriately.

Must be able to conceptualize, handle multiple priorities, and apply tact, diplomacy, reason, and logic.

Licenses, Certifications, Bonding and/or Testing Required:

The successful candidate must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions:

Much of the time will be spent in an office environment.

Some travel will be necessary.

Must have a satisfactory work record including good attendance.
