Job Summary/Objective:

The Lighting Quotation Senior Specialist is Lighting champion for a specific geographic region and owns stock and project Lighting quoting strategy and execution in partnership with local Independent Agents and Southwire Outside Sales teams to drive the profitable sales of Lighting products.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for meeting the Lighting sales plan for their assigned area.

• Own and manage Lighting quoting and pricing strategy and implementation for their assigned area.

• Daily communication with assigned ISM, RSM, and Independent Agent to ensure we have strong collaboration within the region relative to Lighting sales.

• Development of new Lighting business through cultivation of existing accounts and solicitation of new accounts

• Drive cross-selling of Lighting to existing Southwire accounts.

• Project manage lighting layouts and complete product crossovers as needed.

• Monitor key lighting accounts for performance.

• Collect market intelligence and relay to Outside Sales personnel and Product Management.

• Stay up to date on new products by attending trade shows and seminars.

• Train sellers and customers on new and existing Lighting products.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Lighting Certification preferred

  • Minimum of 9 years experience in Lighting Manufacturing, Quotations, Inside Sales or Electrical Distribution required

  • Lighting product knowledge required

  • Prior SAP experience preferred

  • Strong business-to-business analytical skills preferred

  • Strong Financial acumen preferred

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
