This role will be focused in supporting the business in finding quality candidates in an agile way. The Talent sourcer will be responsible for developing market research, crafting creative solutions to connect with prospect candidates, nurture relationships with talent for current and future opportunities.

  • Network closely within the renewables industry and niche functional areas to identify the right talent and market insights.

  • Apply creativity to explore new and unconventional sourcing methods, beyond traditional job boards and platforms. Implement social media strategies, attend networking events, leverage online communities, and other innovative ways to engage potential candidates.

  • Conduct detailed market research to identify potential talent pools, both active and passive candidates, using data-driven insights.

  • Ensure an efficient and positive experience for candidates, Hiring Managers, and talent acquisition partners.

  • Identify and research target companies, expand our network and focus on building “top of the funnel” leads.

  • Collaborate with AES DE&I Initiatives

Qualifications and skills

  • Proven experience sourcing and/or recruiting candidates, preferable within the renewable energy industry.

  • Solid knowledge of the US market.

  • Experience developing, in partnership with Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners and recruiters, the sourcing strategy to deliver solutions to our hiring challenges.

  • Knowledge of the sourcing lifecycle, including boolean and/or semantic searching, data mining, professional networking, passive candidate cold calling and innovative sourcing techniques.

  • Ability to develop and implement creative and diverse sourcing strategies.

  • Tech savvy with solid understanding of sourcing tools.

  • Outstanding interpersonal/networking skills and ability to establish positive relationships with individuals at various levels within and outside of the organization.

  • Ability to run multiple sourcing requests simultaneously under timelines.

  • Creative problem-solving skills with a strong sense of urgency and ability to work within diversified projects.

We are open to hire on a contract basis or as a full time employee for this position.

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $0 and $0/; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
