Quanta Services Receptionist in United States
Welcomes visitors, operates a multi-line telephone system, answer all incoming calls and direct callers to appropriate staff members.
Welcomes company visitors, determines nature of business and announce visitors to appropriate company employee.
Directs questions about the company to the appropriate staff members.
Ensures all visitors sign in and contact the appropriate Quanta Employee that their guest have arrived.
Checks voice mail system each morning for previous night’s calls. Forwards all voice mail messages to appropriate employee’s mailbox.
Answers incoming telephone calls, screens caller regarding the purpose of the call, and transfer to the appropriate staff member or department.
If the employee is unavailable, transfer the call into the employee’s voice mail.
Gains sufficient information from the caller to direct them to the appropriate person or department.
Performs other clerical duties as assigned, such as issuing badges to guest, assisting with parking validation and maintaining a clean and orderly front desk.
Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Screens call so the executives are not receiving sales/solicitors calls.
Accepts and logs all packages arriving.
Works with assistants throughout the company to ensure guest are greeted and sent to the correct locations.
Required Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED and 3 years of experience operating a multi-line telephone system.
