Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Reviewing concrete orders for accuracy, including driving directions and mapping, correct products, delivery times, truck spacing and quantities.
Become familiar with our products and services
Become familiar with the abilities of a ready mix truck.
Develop a strong working relationship with fellow team members, driver teams, customers and KRC contracting groups.
Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed.
Filing and entering information from concrete tickets into the Command Concrete program as needed.
Fill in when other dispatchers are on vacation.
Other duties as needed.
Current and valid driver license
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Previous dispatching experience and knowledge of the Eugene area is preferred
Knowledge of DOT regulations and previous construction experience is helpful
Ability to operate and learn new computer programs
Ability to effectively manage time and multi task
Ability to manage stressful situations
Ability to work safely in a busy construction environment
Willingness to work odd hours and Saturdays if necessary
Must work as a member of a location team
Ability to accurately log important information on a daily basis
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before contractors or employees of organization
Ready Mix experience a preference
