Job Summary Safety of employees should be considered your number one priority every day. Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management on construction projects. Lead and manage multiple crews and equipment The ability to operate and implement GPS. Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion Monitor quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed Communicate with project team Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team. Provide and or approve daily and weekly progress reports
Travel should be expected. Successful pre-employment background check for Knife River is required.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and participation in Drug/Alcohol Free workplace is required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of construction experience as a Superintendent or equivalent. Knowledge of principals, methods and standards of grade work Experience in the use and methods of tools and equipment commonly used in grade work. Ability to read and understand plans and specification. Performs work in accordance with standards and specifications.
