Job Summary: * Operating the crane under supervision * Inspecting the crane to ensure it’s safety on a daily basis * Determine if any parts are malfunctioning, and promptly notifying supervision of any deficiencies found. * Clean and perform routine maintenance on the crane and ancillary equipment * Keep and update maintenance and activity log * Complete job tickets, and all necessary paperwork * Carrying tools for running repairs * Driving the crane to and from the worksite * Drive trucks to worksites and unload trucks * Setup machinery based on complex manuals * Place blocks and outriggers when hoisting heavy loads * Inspect rigging and remove damaged equipment from service * Pin boom sections together to extend or modify boom for pile driving or high or heavy lifting. * Hoist, position and place machinery, equipment or other large objects at construction sites and industrial facilities * Operate crane as pile driver, vibratory and impact * Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy * Coordinate with ground operators and interpret hand and verbal signals * Wearing PPT safety equipment Women, minorities and veterans encouraged to apply # Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma or Equivalent * CDL Class B License * CDL Class A License * Must possess NCCCO or Equivalent crane operator certification * Accuracy and attention to detail * Willingness to travel as work dictates * Working experience handling different types of cranes * Minimum 5 years experience operating lattice boom cranes in a similar role * Minimum 3 years experience operating crane as pile driver * Demonstrated experience with single, and two crane picks in confined work areas * Knowledge of OSHA Regulations and ANSI Standards in Crane Operations * Proficient in oral and written communications skills * Pass Drug Test, Background and medical test # How To Apply You may apply online at http://jobs.mdu.com If unable to apply online, mail completed application to: 5450 W.
