As a Manager TIS Network, you are accountable for the integration, coordination, planning and management of the ongoing operational integrity of these tools, applications, hardware, software and associated programs over a variety of jurisdictions, operational infrastructures and devices. #joinourteam
What you will do:
Ensures organizational objectives are translated into the team’s activities and ensure integration with the work of other internal and external Stakeholder.
Participate in the development of the Network Services strategy and cascade this to department strategies for a variety of complex information systems that support ongoing and planned business
Develop and maintain a governance strategy for Network Services
Ensure specific Network Services objectives are translated into strategic goals that will benefit TIS and Enbridge as a whole.
Managing relationships and internal and external stakeholders to guide efficient decision making for effectively managing all Network Service programs and projects related to LAN, WAN, wireless, etc.
Develop, maintain an execute strategy for emerging technologies; work with stakeholders to gather and document business needs regarding availability, reliability and performance.
Build, communicate and execute capability roadmaps and governance strategies.
Translate corporate TIS standards and procedures into Network Service standards and policies, communicate relevant standards, policies and strategies to a variety of stakeholders.
Manages the development of technical and business solutions ensuring efficient coordination of technical resources with internal and external stakeholders.
Establishing and maintaining optimal vendor and external consulting relationships
Provides opportunities for cross functional development through secondment of project staff into and out of the department.
Who you are:
University degree in an applicable discipline or equivalent experience.
8+ years of progressively responsible experience in an IT strategic business environment in a process-driven service delivery model
Proven leadership experience in a mission critical environment
Well-developed expertise in IT network solutions, business planning, process analysis, systems analysis, technical analysis, project management, network architecture, implementation and operations
Proven experience with enterprise IT technology and solutions and demonstrated proficiency in developing effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
Experience presenting complex commercial and IT issues to technical and non-technical staff, e.g., IT operations, Business Unit stakeholders, Legal, Audit, Compliance, vendors, etc. across all Enbridge jurisdictions.
Prior experience managing teams within different geographic locations.
Experience in the energy industry (or broader natural resources sector)

Physical Requirements:
Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement. Mobility to walk in outdoor conditions that occasionally involve uneven and slippery terrain and to enter and exit excavations. Agility with the ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and other devices using feet and legs, and/or hands and arms.
