Job Summary

Manages various programs and projects and provides relationship management on behalf of Process and Technologies, with process automation objectives of timely and cost-effective completion.

Major Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership on various programs and projects mainly related to business process automation based on IT solutions (desktop and mobile). Management includes development of scope, project design execution and close out.

  • Acts as a liaison between the business and IT to identify and prioritize business requirements related to process automation initiatives which drive efficiencies for the Networks business

  • Leads cross-functional project teams, including global projects. Holds regular program/project status meetings.

  • Create KPI’s and develop action plans based on the data to improve performance

  • Acts as the lead team member with respect to accomplishing day-to-day goals and provides direction and leads decision making. Holds project team members accountable for results.

  • Provides linkage to management for decision making outside of day-to-day program/project team activities.

  • Provides relationship management for the business area.

Education & Experience Required

  • A Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of relevant experience required, or an Associate’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience required.

  • Certification for Project/Program management is preferred.

  • A minimum of 1 year of program/project management experience.

  • Microsoft Suite knowledge.

Skills/Abilities Required

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills and an ability to multi-task.

  • Strong Interpersonal, Communication, and Negotiation Skills.

  • Strong skills in Excel required and in Microsoft Project preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of aspects of at least one of the following business functional areas: Electric Operations, Gas Operations, or Projects.

  • Understanding of IT design and architecture a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects.

  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
