About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Manager of Environmental Engineering to join our Environmental Compliance team. LS Power is an independent power generation company with a large fleet of operating plants with a diversified portfolio including oil, gas, wind, RNG and hydro assets. Our team within Asset Management oversees the continued environmental compliance for these operating assets as well as assisting with the due diligence for new acquisitions and sale side support for divestures.

What you will do:

• Oversee technical reading skills for reviewing contracts, permits, and regulations, and solid math skills for evaluation of air and water emissions.

• Travel periodically to the company’s various operating plants across the fleet and on due diligence visits.

• Hold Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, biology, or environmental science.

• Have at least 7+ years of working knowledge of the Clean Air Act (and its amendments), Clean Water Act, and other various major environmental legislation and regulations.

• Can effectively manage multiple assignments under time constrains

• Are a solution focused team player with the ability to collaborate effectively within and across multiple business units

• Have great attention to detai.
