About the Position

Are you passionate about IT contracts and procurement? Do you thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! As an IT Contract & Procurement Specialist, you'll partner with and support Information Technology Management, project managers, and staff with the review, management, and renewal of IT vendor contracts. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with policies, laws, and directives, and facilitate the procurement of hardware, software, maintenance, and professional services using formal and informal processes such as Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and bids.

About Our Team

Our IT Contracts and Procurement team is dedicated to preserving exceptional customer value through timely and effective IT contracts, renewals, and competitive RFI, RFP, and bid processes. We support each other to ensure each contract and procurement is timely, of the highest quality, and contributes toward effective cost and risk management. We value a collaborative and inclusive work environment, emphasizing teamwork and exceeding our internal customers’ expectations.

About You

You are customer service-oriented and derive satisfaction from building relationships and guiding stakeholders to achieve their strategic goals while adhering to the ethical standards and requirements of the procurement profession. You are experienced and comfortable partnering with all organizational levels, from individual contributors to executive leadership. You navigate an ever-changing and increasingly complex information technology landscape with ease. You are adept at reading and interpreting complex IT contracts and statements of work and can readily distinguish between terms and conditions that are of a legal nature vs. an IT nature. You have a strong background in contracts and procurement and can provide guidance to RFP teams in the successful acquisition of IT products and services in a regulated public purchasing environment. While you are passionate about process improvement, you are clearly aware of the need to balance innovation with public purchasing constraints and organizational change management.
