Quanta Services Business Development Executive - California in United States
Lead company’s planning and execution of strategies to increase sales and company growth. This position will sit in California.
ESSENTIAL/ NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Directs/Manages/Supervises the identification and pursuit of opportunities that support business strategy and growth, such as partnerships, alliances, licensing agreements, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures.
Responsible for the analysis of new business opportunities.
Identifies market trends and supports company strategy to address them.
Plans and directs regional business development policies, objectives and initiatives.
Provides business development leadership and strategic direction.
Coordination of Operational Support in accordance with SVP direction and in alignment with strategic direction of growth and profitability of corporation.
Maintains awareness of external competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion and new industry developments.
Evaluates potential partnerships and provides status updates to SVP, Business Development.
May be accountable for licensing initiatives and programs; duties include negotiating contracts, initiating proposals and closing deals.
Develops and executes company sales and marketing plans, including implementing new ideas and tools for the company.
Leads cross-functional teams in the assessment of potential initiatives that promote long-term growth and increase revenue.
Manages the process of negotiating agreements with key partners.
Evaluates return on investment for potential partnerships and provides status updates to senior leadership on projects.
Assists Executives in defining organizational goals and strategic plans.
Extensive knowledge of electric markets and regulatory frameworks as it pertains to designated geography and customers
Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
15+ years of experience; 7 years management responsibility.
Expert business knowledge with comprehensive understanding of the organization and function area.
