Business and Department

This role sits within the Onshore Site Operations organisation as part of the Renewables Control Centre Team and specifically the performance reporting section which is responsible for managing the creation and publication of all the SPR onshore wind farm operational performance reporting obligations. With reviewing and analysing the operational performance data of the entire UK renewables portfolio and identifying trends to improve performance for SPR and IBR business reports in accordance with required timescales and providing to internal and external stakeholders. This spans data from over 35 wind farms and over 1000 turbines across the onshore and offshore portfolio.

Using your previous experience in operational data analysis to present reports and analytical findings in a clear and logical manner to SPR Operations and Maintenance (O&M;) Teams, SPR Senior Management Teams and direct liaison with Iberdrola Renovables head office reporting functions whilst being adaptable to work within a flexible matrix operation, working and managing a variety of projects simultaneously.

You will report to the Operational Performance Analyst and where required deputising in addition to:


  • Perform essential regulatory data quality checks, on a monthly basis, of site metered production data to confirm and support the SPR revenue process ensuring SPR are being paid correctly for generation.

  • Assist in the development and implement local Site Operations team operational data reporting systems to support asset management decision making and resource prioritisation.

  • Implement an associated series of operational performance reports to meet both the reporting requirements of thewider business and to support optimised asset management decision making within the SPR O&M; Team

  • Provide operational data to support the operational insurance claim process

  • Staying abreast of new reporting and analysis techniques within SPR, Iberdrola Renovables and the externalenvironment to ensure optimal quality and validity of data analysis

  • Assist in the development of analytical tools and systems to allow for the effective analysis and reporting of operational site performance

  • Assist with the Analysis and submission of data used in SPR and Iberdrola Renovables scorecards, with a direct impact on measured business performance

  • Verification of production data submitted to external regulatory bodies with a subsequent impact on operational compliance.

  • Assist in the identification and implementation of a range of new performance assessment tools and systems



  • Qualification in an engineering/technical discipline preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills and proven track record.
