Job Summary:
The Analyst will be responsible for performing data analysis and reporting to support internal and external stakeholders with a focus on NRG Home brands.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop, monitor, and maintain automated reports that demonstrate performance trends and monitor key financial metrics
Identify, analyze, and interpret customer trends from large, complex data sets
Work with IT and Data Analytics teams to ensure data infrastructure and reporting is auditable and consistent
Identify, design, and implement solutions to improve quality, standardization, and accuracy across NRG Home teams
Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Working Conditions:
Comfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced environment
Combination of open office, remote, and hybrid working environment
Some overtime required as special projects arise
Minimal travel
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of a (4) four-year degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, data analytics, finance, econometrics, or other quantitative discipline
Two (2) or more years of relevant analytics experience in either a business or academic environment
Experience querying and working with multiple databases
Advanced Excel skills, specifically working with large datasets
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High level of curiosity, a capacity for quick learning, and an aptitude for problem solving
Ability to communicate effectively and proactively
Capable of working independently and on a team
Results driven with a strong sense of integrity, energy, and enthusiasm
