ConEdison Solutions Lead Energy Trading Analyst in Valhalla, New York
As the CEBs continue to grow and remain a leader in renewable energy, the Energy Management team seeks to hire a key member to work out of our Valhalla, NY office. The Lead Energy Analyst, under the direction of the Operations Manager, is responsible for various ISO market and bidding functions associated with our Energy Management business. This includes day-ahead and real-time bid submittals, intra-day monitoring and forecasting of markets and fuel usage, coordinating with clients and gas trading desk, and evaluating and executing short-term hedging opportunities. The Lead Energy Analyst will leverage their skills and experience to optimize the more complex assets and strategies in our portfolio and assist clients and internal teams with projects on an ad-hoc basis. It is a requirement that the Energy Analyst participate in the off-hour and weekend on-call rotation.

Competitive salary with annual target bonus. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
The annual salary range for this position is $80,000-$120,000.

Education:
Four year degree required; Area of study engineering, quantitative, or business degree is preferred.
A Master degree is a plus.
Experience:
1-5 years related experience in Electric markets Energy-related field preferred
Experienced using Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Adapt 2, Yes Energy, WSI, Genscape, Pharos, SnL, or other comparable solutions is a plus
Job Skills:
Excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills.
Knowledge of energy markets.
Knowledge of ISO market rules and NYISO/ISO-NE/PJM/CAISO market systems
Will be required to be available for off-hours operations.
High energy level, self-motivated and innovative.
You must be eligible to work in the US independent of company sponsorship.
