South Jersey Industries Sales Assistant in Union, New Jersey
Basic Function:Provides technical and advanced administrative support for the Sales & Marketing department.
Representative Duties and Responsibilities:• Provides general administrative support to Sales and Marketing departments.• Arranges meeting logistics (e.g., schedules meetings, reserves meeting space, orders refreshments/audio visual equipment or other materials); monitors and follows-up on meeting requests, sends reminders, and other communication as required.• Performs word processing, including creating and editing documents.• Enters and tracks data in databases and spreadsheets.• Sends form letters and/or mass mailings to customers, upon customer or New Business Representatives' request.• Completes and obtains approvals on Personnel Action Notices (PAN); enters into HRMS.• Tracks employee attendance; enters time for payroll processing; answers employee's questions regarding time used and available.
• Prepares purchase orders and enters into PeopleSoft Financials; processes and tracks vendor invoices to ensure payment; tracks invoices paid for budget reconciliation and planning.
• Reconciles and processes corporate credit card statements for payment.• Prepares hand out materials for The Realtor training program.
• Orders and distributes cell phones and pagers.
Manage customer onboarding in a direction that helps achieve departments goals.
Provides the primary interface between the sales personnel and operations along with other ETG departments that assist in delivering gas service to ETG customers both existing and new.
Participate in and establish trade show events that will maximize exposure and sales for ETG.
Ability to travel to various Company locations as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer service and project management with a focus on affecting change. Project management experience is preferred.
Associate Degree from an accredited college or university in business, marketing or related field, bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years’ experience of CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.
Working knowledge of Work Management and Asset Tracking, Customer Information System (CIS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technologies. Salesforce, Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), and Maximo preferred.
Experience in process coordination or workflow management
Proven success in building business relationships
