Your Impact at SAM

The primary role of the Market Lead is to create a long-term strategic vision for their respective business line and assist the Business Development team with executing that vision.

  • Formulates business development forecasts, plans, and activities to increase company presence in defined markets and achieve annual sales goals and initiatives

  • Work with Business Development team to develop relationships while selling the entire suite of SAM services

  • Cultivate existing customer business, uncovering and capturing opportunities for mutual business growth

  • Develop solutions to complex business problems or customer engagements through in-depth analysis, coordination and negotiation with key decision makers

  • Stay abreast of competitors, industry trends and changes as they affect assigned accounts

  • Attends required networking and industry development functions

  • Travel as needed for specific customer requirements or meetings/conferences

  • Entertainment of customers and prospects as appropriate

  • Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company’s strategic goals

What You Bring to SAM

  • Demonstrated track record of Sales success with both large and small prospects

  • 8+ years of sales experience consistently exceeding revenue and earnings expectations

  • Ability to determine the best communication approach with various team members and business contacts

  • A sophisticated understanding of the solution selling process, sales strategy, sales forecasting, and pipeline development

  • Ability to succeed in a rapidly changing, high-energy, high-expectations environment

  • Demonstrated ability setting clear goals, accepting responsibility, measuring performance and overcoming challenges to achieve quality and timely results

  • Superb written and verbal communication and negotiation skills

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, or equivalent education and experience

  • Experience with SalesForce is preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and email
