Our Regional Training Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and assessment of training strategies and programs for employees within the Linetec Organization. This position requires extensive travel and the ideal applicant will be located in or around Tulsa, OK.
What You'll Do
Plan, develop, and implement training programs
Build, administer, maintain, and improve training curriculum
Develop and implement Lineman Apprentice Program
Ensure that training programs are compliant with regulation and customer expectations
Advance the development of employees in course design and instruction
Develop course options with consideration of efficiency and geographic limitations
Evaluate and develop the skills of the training staff
Demonstrate versatility in delivering core business skill modules
Oversee and maintain employee training records to maintain compliance with position requirements
Develop partnerships with industry groups, technical schools, and other organizations to enhance the talent pipeline
Create a comprehensive New Hire Orientation Program
Perform other duties as requested by leadership
What You'll Have
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
6 - 10 years related experience
5 years experience in employee development
Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems
Proficient in Microsoft basic suite of programs (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Strong working knowledge of the Instructional System Design (Training & Competency)
Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT and as applicable, & regulations
Ability to deliver and facilitate safety, technical, and skills curriculum using Adult Learning delivery methods
Thorough understanding of training development and delivery within an operating environment
Proficient in technical writing, presentations, and development of training materials
Superb verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively work with colleagues of varying backgrounds at different levels of the organization across multiple departments
Demonstrated leadership capabilities in a matrix organization
Organized and able to manage multiple projects
Ability to use sound judgment and make good decisions
Ability to demonstrate and promote ethical behavior through the establishment and adherence to policies, procedures and professional standards of conduct

Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
Travel willl be required
