One Gas Sr Admin Assistant in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Position Description:

This position will be supporting two Vice Presidents in our Accounting and Finance Group.

Provides an advanced level of administrative support related to accounting.

Compile, verify, balance and/or process information including but not limited to:

Accounts receivable and/or payable

Invoices and vouchers

Variance reporting and forecasting

Account reconciliations

Provide information and assistance to vendors/customers, bank personnel and employees including but not limited to:

Account corrections

Contracts, statements and/or agreements

Credits, discounts and due dates

Account classifications

Budget Preparation

Utilize computers to enter data and prepare reports including but not limited to:

Vendor account information

General ledger and voucher journal entries

Accounts receivable and/or payable

Expenditure audits

Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Minimum Associate's Degree

Knowledge of banking terminology relative to company accounting activities.

Experience providing administrative and/or secretarial support.

Experience in use and function of office equipment applicable to position including computers, photocopiers, facsimiles, and applicable software.

Experience with policies, procedures, and use of terminology applicable to position

Working knowledge and training related to:

  • Accessing general ledger accounts

  • Budgets

  • Word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Develop and maintain physical and/or electronic filing systems

Planning conferences and meetings

Handling confidential and/or sensitive information

Generally accepted standards for grammar and punctuation

Experience reading and interpreting various types of manuals, forms, publications and reports.

Experience interacting, advising and communicating effectively with internal and external customers.

Experience composing and preparing correspondence and reports.

Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.

Able to operate office tools and equipment required.

Communicate and/or exchange information and instructions.

Visual ability sufficient to perform job duties.#officeoperations
