Description

The individual in this position provides leadership and management of the Human Resources department within GSOC’s Shared Services Administration division. This includes overseeing departmental policies, procedures, practices, and staff for optimum results.

This leader provides insights, guidance and expertise that aids in the design, development, implementation and management of HR initiatives and programs, including but not limited to:

• Benefits administration

• Talent acquisition/onboarding

• Workforce planning and development

• Compensation, reward and recognition

• Performance management

• Diversity and inclusion

• Human resources information systems (HRIS)

• Employee Relations

In addition, this individual partners collaboratively with other leaders on HR strategy, management initiatives, and organizational decisions to meet shared or company-specific business objectives. This HR leader serves as an advisor and coach to functional leaders and HR professionals within the department, while also working to ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety and other laws, regulations and requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Education : A bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or a related field is required. A master’s degree is preferred.

Experience : At least ten years’ experience in human resources is required, with at least four of those years in a management capacity that shows progressively increasing responsibility. Strategic development, relationship management and staff management experience are preferred, along with experience in two or more of the following human resources functions: compensation, benefits (retirement, health and welfare), employee relations, talent acquisition, and talent management/development.

Equivalent Experience : Six additional years of experience as outlined above.

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations : The ideal candidate will have at least one or more standard industry certifications in compensation, benefits or employee relations.
