Responsibilities

SUMMARY:

The Recruiting Coordinator closely interacts with candidates, hiring leaders, recruiters and all levels of staff to provide support for the recruitment needs of the business. This position is key to providing an exceptional candidate/hiring leader experience and owns the candidate workflow from interview scheduling through on-boarding. The Recruiting Coordinator is vital to ensuring compliance with all APS/PVGS policies and Federal guidelines relating to the hiring process.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:__

*Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Additionally, 2 years of Human Resources experience or other relevant work experience is required. The successful candidate should possess effective communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work in a team environment. Ability to prioritize, plan and initiate work activities for self as well as build and maintain effective working relationships with recruiters, management, candidates and general public. Excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, analytical skills and proficient skill level in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Working knowledge of applicable state/federal laws and regulations. PeopleSoft experience a plus. *

This position would also require working knowledge of labor union agreements if responsible for recruitment activities for union positions. Nuclear requirement: Any PVNGS employee may be called upon to serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization (ERO) and will be expected to fulfill their obligation as an ERO member. This is a condition of employment at PVNGS. Roles and Responsibilities defined in Policy 1503 and implementing policy guide are applicable to all PVNGS employees.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

*1) Provides a best-in-class candidate/hiring leader experience in a manner that enhances the company's employment brand. *

**2) Manages candidate workflow through the recruitment process: Schedules interviews and prepares all necessary materials, conducts testing, organizes travel arrangements for candidates and coordinates interview process.__

*3) Coordination of all on-boarding tasks including pre-employment clearance activities such as new hire physicals, travel scheduling, form and document review, and new hire orientation coordination *

4) Tracks all recruiting/on-boarding related costs to help the team adhere to budget

5) Serves as the Applicant Tracking System subject-matter-expert in order to ensure the system accurately reflects requisition and candidate activity for accurate reporting.

6) Manages a broad range of EEOC/OFCCP compliance related tasks and ensures all APS policies/procedures are followed

7) Acts as back-up recruiter in recruiter's absence to include reviewing and screening applications/resumes for job requirements for open positions.

8) Effectively communicates status throughout all stages of the process.

9) Participates in various HR meetings, committees and other HR activities
