MYR Group Recruiter (Temporary - 4 weeks) in Thornton, Colorado

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a short term recruiter (4 week minimum assignment) to assist us with a high volume of work, supporting recruitment across the US and Canada for our corporate entity and 13 operating subsidiaries.

The recruiter will work a hybrid schedule, based out of our Thornton office, and we'll provide a work phone and laptop. Work hours are slightly flexible between 7:30-5:30 Monday-Friday. This will be an hourly paid position, at $30 per hour, with employment provided via one of our agency partnerships. A background check and drug screening is required.

Essential Functions

  • Work closely with recruitment team to ensure the recruiting process is completed correctly, keeping all data up to date in our applicant tracking system (iCIMS)

  • Source candidates using a variety of recruitment tools and databases

  • Review and qualify applicant resumes

  • Conduct screening interviews for candidates, capturing accurate notes and applicable details

  • May assist with coordinating and scheduling manager interviews

  • Assist in meeting affirmative action/equal opportunity and diversity recruitment goals

  • Regular and predictable attendance

  • Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location.

  • Understand and comply with the Company‚Äôs Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year in a prior recruiting or talent acquisition position is required

  • Prior experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate both verbally and written

  • Capable of handling extremely confidential and sensitive information

  • Self-starter with a curious mindset, capable of assessing situations and prospective talent to identify potential job matches

  • Ability to work within a team environment with a collaborative approach and independently with minimal supervision on assignments

  • Skilled at multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills

  • Excellent ability to learn and follow recruitment related compliance regulations

  • Ability to source resumes from multiple sources and conduct internet research

  • Good understanding of the recruitment cycle from start to end

  • Possess proficient computer skills (including MS Office/Word/Outlook) and knowledgeable of web-based software and social media platforms
