Purpose
The Talent Acquisition Manager will engage closely with Liberty’s West Region leadership to deliver a first-class recruitment experience for hiring managers and candidates. This role will lead talent acquisition strategies for Liberty’s operating utilities in CA, AZ, TX. Accountabilities
Responsible for managing all full lifecycle recruiting needs within technical operations, corporate, and campus roles. Typical rolling requisition load of 35 - 40.
Collaborate with hiring teams to create thorough interview guides to include technical and behavioral components. May actively participate in interviews.
Partner with hiring managers to devise creative and thoughtful recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill, high-volume and critical positions. In this role, you’ll lead the recruiting process from concept to hire.
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience to include initial outreach, screening and introductions, interview scheduling, offer negotiation and onboarding.
Partner closely with HR and Executive leadership to deeply understand their teams and business operations
Develop detailed market-maps, and talent pool assessments to create and execute robust search strategies and market intelligence
Cultivate the candidate pipeline, using innovative ways to reach active and passive candidates
Establish mutually beneficial school, community, and association partnerships to increase brand awareness and give back our expertise
Conceive and execute recruitment-marketing and social media branding activities. Will have access to collaborate with marketing and corporate teams on projects of significant scale.
Lead continuous improvement of recruitment programs, processes, and activities
Actively participate in workforce planning, culture, and talent development planning groups to advance the interests of Liberty’s west region.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of direct experience in full lifecycle recruiting
Prior Talent Acquisition Management or Recruitment Leadership required
Possess excellent Boolean sourcing and search capabilities, able to develop candidates for confidential searches as required.
Experience utilizing, evaluating, and maximizing the efficiency of a variety of recruitment systems and tools
Expert-level experience utilizing all the features of LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other common recruitment tools and platforms.
Experience recruiting in niche engineering/design, utility, oil & gas, energy, renewables, construction or related industry preferred
