Tacoma Power's Utility Technology Section is seeking an Application Portfolio Lead to join the Business Integration & Digital Solutions (BIDS) group in managing TPU’s Customer Engagement Portal and TPU’s Lobby queueing system. This position will provide secondary Subject Matter Expertise support for the following Customer Services’ solutions: iNovah-integrated payment channels, Verint call recording solution, and the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.
The UTS Business Integration & Digital Solutions group researches, analyzes, evaluates and provides information and recommendations regarding multi-dimensional problems that impact technology systems, platforms, contracts, goals/objectives and address internal customer related requirements.
Determine project and system requirements, conducting research, analysis and evaluations related to management operations and goals
Organize, plan and provide administration and documentation of business impacted systems
Identify, collect, organize and document data and information in ways that make the information most useful for subsequent assessment, analysis, and investigation
Lead or participate in technology related projects as a key contributor and/or in a project leading capacity
Partner with business units to analyze, document and describe critical needs and success factors
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
3+ years' experience in practical management analysis
Experience working at, or in close relationship with an Electric utility
Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite products (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS SQL Server 2016, MS Teams)

Other Employment Information
Direct Deposit: Employees are paid on a bi-weekly schedule by direct deposit.
Salary Increases: Based on satisfactory job performance, the City provides for a regular progression of salary increases for most classifications according to the salary schedule.
Union Affiliation: Many job classifications are covered by union security provisions which require union membership, dues, or payment of equivalent service fees.
